Working on behalf of the owners, our Construction Managers complete the project per the plans and specifications from the owners architect while maintain the schedule, managing the payment approval process and occupancy requirements. 

All projects are managed by IC Construction Company along with all our subcontractors through the "Procore" Project Management program we also grant access to the project owners to review pictures, schedules, change order management, and daily reports.  We manage all disciplines related to construction project process including technology, materials management, government oversights, project design, and engineering.

At IC Construction Company our design build method of project delivery is based on a proven series of process, whereby multiple parties including architects, engineers, designers, contractors and major subcontractors work collaboratively and communicate effectively to deliver high quality project results.  From the inception of a project, owners and industry professionals work together towards a unified goal to insure that project costs are minimized, and delivery schedules are streamlined.

We have in-house architectural design services and combined with our Design Build process we bring the stakeholders together in the very early stages of development, keeping the end goals in mind and how we need to get there.  We establish the steps necessary to capture our owners’ vision while continually aligning the design with the budget.

Single Source of Accountability:

Having both the design and construction under a single source of responsibility we can drive the schedule and quality to fulfill the owner’s goals.  We provide the coordination between the design and construction teams as well as managing the owner provided equipment and materials thus saving time and cost.  This allows the owner to focus on their own current business needs and operations with a level of integration into the process that works for them.

Cost Savings:

Value for our customers is driven with early planning with effective communication with our design team, construction team and major contractors.  When the design and the construction teams work together with a common goal, we can look at constructability, exploring alternative construction methods and materials used in the project early on.  Our delivery method provides a continuous check on the budget to ensure we are capturing the vision and staying true to the budget to eliminate cost overrun driven by design. 

Time Savings:

If the schedule requires it design build construction can begin prior to the completion of the plans and specifications due to the integrated team approach.  We can deliver the approval process in phases starting with site design and approval, while finalizing the foundation design allowing us to gain an early construction start.  The full building design approval process can be continued while site work activities begin, and foundations are started.  This method allows for a quicker start of the facility and earlier completion allowing for reduced project costs. 

Risk Management:

With design build delivery method the design, budget, quality, schedule, and expectations are defined early in the process.  By providing the design solution we also take the responsibility of the construction documents and there by taking the responsibility of any errors or omissions within the documents avoiding conflicts between the design and construction teams.

Our construction capabilities regularly exceed industry standards for quality, production and speed.  Our self-performed crews are experienced for all situations and can drive a schedule with attention to detail and quality.  We self-perform concrete footings and foundations, concrete flatwork, steel erection, rough and finish carpentry. Everyone of our superintendents are OSHA 30 certified and receive annually safety training updates.

Concrete:

Our multiple crews provides us with the capabilities to perform a wide range of project sizes and types of concrete projects.  Our crews travel to wherever our customers take us, as they recognize our ability to meet a schedule and budget and provide a superior product.  Quality is always on the forefront as we outfit our crews with state-of-the-art laser screed technology, laser levels, equipment, and utilize soft-cut saw systems to maximize concrete flatness and significantly reduced installation challenges.

Steel Erection:

Much aligned with our core values for self-performed services, we have multiple crews to that handle your steel erection needs from conventionally framed steel retail buildings, warehouses, industrial, to pre-engineered structures of all types.  Equipment, training, and technology allow our structural steel erections crews to meet demanding schedules.

Carpentry:

Our carpentry crew is compiled of skilled craftsmen in both rough and finish carpentry.  On any given project we have the ability to frame both steel studs and wood. Full framing of exterior bearing structures including sheeting, interior load bearing and non-load bearing framing and wall blocking. Interior finish carpentry includings installation of wood and metal doors, cabinets, countertops, finish trim, toilet partitions and accessory installation.  For all types of carpentry work our carpentry crews ensure that every detail is met.
